Visit From Dundalk FC
We were honoured to have a visit today from Liam Burns, Community officer with Dundalk FC and Andy Boyle Dundalk F.C. defender. Our pupils, decked out in The Lilywhite colours gave them a rousing reception to our school. Liam Burns delivered an inspirational speech, telling the children to work hard at their individual talents and not to let anyone put them down. Ms. Rafferty congratulated Dundalk F.C. on their achievements, on and off the pitch and thanked the management and players for their enormous contribution to the local community. It was a fantastic occasion for our loyal Dundalk F.C. supporters among our staff and our pupils. We wish Dundalk F.C. continued success in the future and we thank Liam and Andy for taking the time to visit our school, sign autographs and give our pupils the opportunity to have photos taken with their magnificient silverware from this season.
